Sundown Adventure park

On our way back from holiday we decided to take a detour to one of our favourite places for the kids, Sundown adventure Park  http://www.sundownadventureland.co.uk/themepark/
It is a unique theme park designed for the under 10's and offers an enchanting magical day for the kids and parents alike, unfortunately the photos do not do justice to the park as the weather wasn't the best. We first visited when our eldest was one and he was attracted to the colourful surroundings, we returned the following year for the Christmas spectacular the park has every year which was magical for all, we have since returned twice more with both children and have yet to tire of the place, It is in my opinion is reasonably priced and offers reasonably priced food at its cafes so not as expensive as some days we have had!! a definite recommendation if you have little ones and are around the Lincoln area

Follow the yellow brick road and find your favourite charachters

Entrance in to Smugglers cove a pirate/ smugglers themed adventure play ground

The kids love the Jolly Pirate boat ride, but watch out for a pesky pirate lying in wait with a surprise or two

The angry birds area of the park is a great hit with all ages, including the okie yolkie ride and giddy piggies ride

Toy town fire station, this area is made up of child size houses/ shops/ servcies that can be explored and enjoyed by the children

Story book village houses homes and interactive displays from our favourite stories

Inside Lollipoppet castle which gives off a lovely sweet candy smell

The park also has a Robin hood ride where you can explore Sherwood forest with robin Hood and his merry men, Fort Apache with the rocky mountain railroad, tractor rides, sand play areas, pedal carts, Sunny down animated farm and two indoor play areas so most definitely worth the money and travel time if your not so near.
