To be able to review the subscription i was sent this months box, and i was so excited when it arrived, it felt a bit like Christmas morning! This Month is all about Women in Wine, so features two fabulous female wine producers, Paula Fandino of Mar de Frades and Agnes Vitteaut of Vitteaut-Alberti. The box also contained some treats, there was a bottle of Posh Pop, a packet of Popcorn from Popcorn Kitchen, and a bar of divine chocolate, a real treat box.
The magazine that came in the box is packed full of information on the two wines, the wine makers and information on that months theme and extras, so being all about Women it gave some background information on the Female wine makers, which was really interesting. it gave recipes that included wine in the recipe, definitely something to try! There was a piece on women inspired drinks named after inspirational women. I found knowing about what you were drinking and where it came from made the bottle more enjoyable, as a wine lover i really enjoyed both bottles of good quality wine, and would love to have a regular delivery from Bubble club. At a cost of £32.99 a month it is a luxury but a very nice one at that!
Bubble Club was born from the creators of Craft Gin Club, Craft Gin Club was founded by two friends Jon Burke and John Hulme in January 2015. They had met at business school in Madrid and after enjoying lots of Spanish style ‘Gin-Tonics’ they decided to set up a subscription based gin club where members could try out rare, small batch and exclusive gins that you can’t get anywhere else, delivered to their door every month alongside other gourmet treats such as snacks, tonics, cocktail ingredients and a monthly members magazine. The duo successfully pitched for £75,000 of investment from food and drink entrepreneur Sarah Willingham on last year’s Dragons’ Den.
