Dartington Crystal Review

I was asked recently to review an item from the range at Dartington Crystal i was more than happy to do so as have purchased from them previously. As i enjoy the odd glass of wine or two my obvious choice was some nice wine glasses, i chose glasses from the Sharon range which are sleek and truly beautiful, i have never really had anything more than your usual high street/ supermarket bought glasses before so when they arrived, i was impressed with the quality and feel of the glass and somehow it feels like the wine tastes just that little bit better drinking from a fine crystal glass. The glass is generously sized and can be used for red, white or rose. Dartington offer a wide range of glasses in many different styles to suit all tastes and needs. Dartington glassware can be personalised to make a truly unique and personal touch to a present.

When the youngest was just 6 months old we took the kids on holiday down to Devon, we booked a lovely cottage and had some lovely days out with the kids, during that holiday we decided to visit Dartington Crystal for a factory tour and to get hand casts of the children. The eldest enjoyed the experience of the factory tour and watching the glass being made, and enjoyed the activities on offer during the tour, it turned out to be a really family friendly experience which i was not expecting from a glass factory. We were overjoyed when our hand casts were delivered and we are still in love with our hand casts to this day as it is a reminder of the holiday we had and a beautiful keepsake of the children from that age.
